The Big Lottery Grant has awarded the Beverley Cherry Tree Community Centre with £62,150.

This not only means that the Centre can continue it’s great community work, but it will ensure that the we can reach out to more of the local community that ever before.

The advice service has provided thousands of individuals from Beverley and the East Riding of Yorkshire with a safe, confidential environment where they can receive guidance and support on a wide range of issues including debt, housing, benefits, homelessness, domestic violence, and legal issues.

The advice service has gone from strength to strength over the years and with this Big Lottery Grant the Centre aims to expand the availability of the advice to open on an evening and a Saturday morning, enabling more people than ever to access the services on offer.

The Beverley Cherry Tree Community Centre are excited about what the future brings and are thankful for the Big Lottery Grant which will enable this much needed community lifeline to flourish.
